State Rep
Asked all 3, do you think the state education formula should be changed for Brockton for additional funding?
Cassidy "No". Barnes. "Yes". Asack. "Yes
Would love to hear the explanations for no.

Why should Brockton receive more than others on a formula that has been made that has to adhere to the state law? What gives us the right to get more of the taxpayers money from other towns than say Lowell? Or Fall River? I am not sure why Cassidy said what he did but it is time for the school department with their $100,000 custodians to give up a bit.

You mean anyone who is hoping to get something out of their candidate winning.

11% turnout. And another election in March . Feels like Brockton is always voting...

And one of the candidates accepted campaign contributions from Charter School proponents while pledging to fight for Brockton Schools (talking out of both sides). Guess we won't get a dog park now?

I don't really have a problem with this. Many people want to serve their community, and it's natural to want to advance to a higher level of responsibility.
I would not have voted for Barnes, I just don't really feel great about her. To have one of Mike's aids win is probably a natural progression, which in reality is just another rubber stamp of the democrat agenda.
