Campanelli Stadium/B21
"Campanelli died at age 78, on April 9, 2003, about a year after Campanelli Stadium opened. Former Mayor Jack Yunits previously said that the $17 million stadium and convention center complex would have never opened without Campanelli’s no-strings-attached gift.
“From my understanding, it was a gift,” Gallerani said. “It was out of tribute to Mr. Campanelli that they put his name on it because he gave the gift that made it possible. There was no naming rights.”
Seriously. The Stadium took the Baroncelli field and now they want to sell Mr. Campanelli's name. Though, Can't imagine who would pay for naming rights.

"After asking supporters to fork over $100 per ticket, or $1,000 to $5,000 for a sponsorship, the Brockton 21st Century Corporation canceled a Frank Sinatra tribute concert organized to raise money for the tax-payer funded economic development group. B21 Executive Director Michael Gallerani said he decided to call off the April 23 fundraiser due to a lack of ticket sales.
Gallerani said his aim was to sell between 200 and 300 tickets to the Sinatra fundraiser. He declined to say how many tickets B21 ended up selling"

... and if that doesn't work, maybe have Michelle Dubois and former mayor Balzotti do some pole dancing or mud wrestling

This same Sinatra tribute is just about sold out for the Bridgewater Vets club on April 21. Reason: up until april1 the cost was $35 a ticket (buffet included). There are still a few tickets left at $53. This is also a fundraiser but no price gouging is involved.
This is a far cry from the $100 plus for the event at the Shaws center.

After they've taxed us to death where do they anticipate we get the money?
And what have we seen with all of the taxes we do pay?
If we all sang the same note in the choir, We'd never have harmony

"The head of a taxpayer-funded nonprofit in Brockton was called out during a public meeting on Tuesday for a series of suspected instances of plagiarism plaguing a 75-page report that he submitted to the city. BMichael Gallerani, executive director of the Brockton 21st Century Corporation, was grilled and scolded on plagiarism charges by Brockton Councilor-at-large Winthrop Farwell, after the leader of the economic development agency presented his report during the Brockton City Council meeting on Tuesday night. "Farwell called it an “embarrassment” for the city-funded economic development group."
“I would hope that someone who comes in and proffers a report as their work product, and they’ve taken so much from other people’s efforts, other people’s writings, and other people’s concepts, that you would disclose that,” said Farwell, who was the mayor of Brockton from 1992 through 1995. "You would footnote it, you would put in a bibliography, because it’s really inexcusable where I come from."

Can anyone tell me how has this 21st Century club of Good ole boys/girls served the city for the money we pay to fund them? Seems there would be more bang for the buck sending the money to Public Safety.

It's a report proposing improvements, not the Borne Identity.
I steal ideas at work all the time, I used to eb a computer programmer, you can't possibly be original in every thing.
If you don't like the report, that's fine. But plagiarism is a little far fetched.
