This probably won't get much traction here, but in the name of marketing...
I am bringing renowned ambient musician Robert Rich to perform at Sanctuary Church in Marshfield on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 pm. Robert has been recording and performing this music for 30 years. He has released more than 30 albums, written scores for TV and film, inspired countless electronic musicians, and performed all over the world....but he's never had a chance to play in Boston.
In this show, he'll be performing one continuous 90-minute set. His style is a mix of classic electronic music, quiet ambient drifts, and world music influences. Tickets are just $15. You can reserve seats by emailing me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Here's a look and listen at one of Robert's recent sets.
Just as a note: I know this music isn't for everyone, and the usual reaction to something you don't "get" is to ridicule. But...what if you chose to try to broaden your outlook a little? This is a unique experience. You never know...you might dig it.
