I just went through the city website and checked out the minutes from various commissions and their minutes from their meeting. I thought Mayor Balzotti was going to bring a change!! None of the minutes have been updated and our isolation from the administration continues. I realize, for the Balzotti apologists, that she has been in office just amonth , but this could have been updated in a matter of minutes!! As different as she is from Harringto it is not surprising to see she is being as similar as he was in not letting the public know the truth about the city government.
No it is not ok......we always heard the "where is Waldo" line form the people who did not appreciate the former Mayor; now the buck stops with Mary Poppins the Mayor. It is her responsibilty to maintain the website to inform the people of this city, the taxpaayers, what is oging on. I know she finds the time to get to the Old Country Buffet. I just wished she'd find the time to get the info on to the website. Don't say she can't!! She has already posted items about foreclosures( a good thing), and Haitian help. She is capable. It is not her priority. Bingo with the Seniors is what motivates her.

You'd complain if the web site were kept up to date that she wasn't doing what was necessary elsewhere.

So you know for a fact that she has done this herself?
You say you run an organization with 100 employees....how many do you think she has? Do you run an organization that runs its own website? Do you know how hard it is to maintain a website? Do you realize the person that records the minutes may not be the same person that would put them online? Do you realize they may not have given them to the web site designer? Do you realize that the person might not have gotten said minutes logged into the computer and hasnt been able to pass them on to the correct person to be put online? Do you realize what the hell has been going on in this city in the last month (foreclosures, murders, etc.) Do you really think this would be the first thing on her mind? Do you think for one minute her first month in office should be worried about a website and not focusing on learning exactly how much deep sh*t this city is in and come up with a plan on how to fix it?
You say we would be complaining about Waldo....Well at least when the murders started happening we heard from her, we had 10 murders last year and dont thing we heard anything from Waldo once!

as for Linda, give her a chance, the website shows that they are working on it. Rome wasnt built in a day and I bet it isnt her who is updating it, there is a office person or a web admin that does it.
