Attention all Brockton HS football alumni and their fans! How would you like to relive the glory days of Boxer football. You can join us on Thursday, March 11, at Joe Angelo's Cafe to once again see the replay of the 1984 and 1985 Brockton High Super Bowl games in their entirety without commercial interruption. Come celebrate the 25th anniversary of these two great teams as Coach Armond Colombo describes all the action and how the plays were called. Tickets are $20 and include hearty appetizers and a complimentary DVD of both games including an introduction by Coach Colombo. Players from that era can plan a reunion and fans can once again enjoy the tradition that is Brockton Boxer Football. Join us at 6:30 on Thursday, March 11, at Joe Angelo's Cafe to once again see the replay of the 1984 and 1985 Brockton Super Bowl games. Proceeds from this event will benefit Save Our Sports. Ticket can be purchased at the Brockton HS Athletic Office (508-580-7546) or at Joe Angelo's Cafe beginning February 1. Hope to see you there and GO BOXERS!!!!!

I wonder if the racist Joe Angelo will allow all the african americans from these 2 teams to come through the doors???????????????????? or was that the racist mayor? racist license commission or racist city council. im confused as to who is actually being called racist because so many people have been thrown into the mix............... seventh- a little help on this one [please....

I was at those games and it made me want to be a football player. That sounds like a pretty cool night, I may check it out.

Only a Northsider for the last five years. I was a Brockton born, raised out of town until adulthood and been here off and on for the last 15 years. Grew up loving Brockton football and going to the thanksgiving games until I was in HS.

Obviously you're trying to stir the pot, but that's cool. For the record I have never said that Joe Angelo or anyone on the city council is a racist.
Joe is an excellent business man who has taken full advantage of the opportunities that the license commission, the Mayor, and the Brockton Police have given to him at the unfair expense of others. As far as I'm concerned his hands are clean. Who among us wouldn't except "free" favors from good friends.
If it comes out that these "favors" were paid for, then that's a different siuation.

The other thread was about a shooting in Ward 6, that Councilor commented, thhus reaction. I would never be an arse and do that in a fundraising thread.
